Starting with the prefix on the board, players find words in the dictionary to challenge the next player (opponent). If the opponent uses the word correctly the player moves one space and play moves to the next player (the former opponent). If the opponent misuses the word the player moves around the board the number of syllables in the given word.
Use an age appropriate dictionary- Children’s dictionary, or even the glossary in a textbook/ spelling book.
